Marketplace rules

How hiring, sponsorships, payments, delivery and disputes work between brands, crews and athletes.

MOVbud's role

The Marketplace connects brands with crews, creators and athletes. The deal is between the brand and the talent; MOVbud provides the tools, holds the payment and helps if something goes wrong.

Pages and posts

Your page must be about you or an organisation you're allowed to represent. Show only work you made or helped make, and credit others fairly.

Verified badges mean MOVbud checked the page belongs to who it says. They're not an endorsement.

Report pages, posts or messages that break these rules. Moderators can hide content and suspend pages.

Deals and payment

When a brand hires someone, the deal sets out the work, the deliverables, dates and the fee. Both sides should agree the details in Messages before work starts.

The brand pays the full fee into MOVbud when funding the deal. We hold it until the brand approves the work, then release it to the talent's payout account, minus the Marketplace fee shown on the deal.

Keep payments for Marketplace deals on MOVbud. Paying off-platform for a deal found here removes our protection and may lead to suspension.

Delivery and approval

Talent submit each deliverable in the deal. The brand approves it or asks for changes with a clear reason. Approved work is locked.

Usage rights are what the deal says. If it says nothing, the brand may use the delivered work for the campaign described, for 12 months, on its own channels; the talent keeps ownership and may show it in their portfolio after it's published.

Disputes

Either side can open a dispute on a funded deal. The money stays held while MOVbud looks at the deal, messages and deliverables, and then releases it, refunds it, or splits it fairly.

Raise problems within 14 days of a deliverable being submitted or its due date passing.

Sponsorships and disclosure

Sponsored content must be clearly labelled as paid or sponsored, following the advertising rules where it's published and the platform's own rules.

Athletes under 18

A parent or guardian must manage the page, approve every deal and receive the payout.
