Who we are

MOVbud is operated by [Company legal name], registered in [country] ("MOVbud", "we"). Contact us at hello@movbud.com.

Your account

You need an account to use MOVbud. Keep your password safe and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to take paid work, hire people or pay on the Marketplace.

Your work stays yours

You keep all rights in the footage, scripts, music, edits and other material you upload or make ("your content").

You give MOVbud only the permission it needs to run the service for you: to store, process, transcode, show and share your content with the people you choose, and to send it to AI providers when you ask for an AI feature. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backups that expire on their normal schedule.

Only upload material you own or are allowed to use. You are responsible for the releases, location permits and music licences your film needs.

Projects and teams

The project owner controls who joins a project and what role they have. Everyone on a project can see its files, so only invite people you trust. The owner can remove people at any time.

Plans, credits and payments

Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Billing; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.

AI credits are used by AI Studio. Each request shows its cost before you spend. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and don't expire while your account is open. If an AI job fails, its credits are returned automatically.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and may include tax where required. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Don't use MOVbud to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, harass people, share sexual content involving minors, upload malware, scrape the service, or get around limits and security.

Don't use AI Studio to make deceptive content about real people, such as fake events, fake endorsements or sexual imagery of a real person.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you why and let you respond.

Marketplace

Deals between brands and talent are also covered by the Marketplace rules, which form part of these terms.

The service

We work hard to keep MOVbud running and your files safe, but the service is provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copies of important footage.

We may change or stop features. If we stop a paid feature you rely on, we'll give you notice and a fair refund for the unused period.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, MOVbud isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of what you paid us in that time or USD 100.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes and law

We'll tell you about important changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of [country], and disputes go to the courts of [city], unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
